Arrgh! It’s Halloween. Here’s some bits and bobs to help you ward off the undead this weekend:
Gigwise, what could be more apt than an evening with rock supremo Lemmy? Motorhead are in the Ambassador, Dublin tonight – taking no prisoners as usual we’d imagine.
Saturday sees the return of Why? to ALT (Alopecia is bloody great), and Sunday has a tough call between The Walkmen in The Button Factory and Mercury Rev in Vicar St.
Down south, Cork has Mercury Rev tonight and the awesome Jackie-O Motherfucker on Sunday, in the award winning Cypress Avenue.
Nialler’s latest podcast is a beaut. He’s even got some of Guess List faves The Octopus Project on there – well done sir.
CMJ came and went. Una has some clips of this years ambassadors from Ireland; Heathers, Hooray for Humans and Giveamanakick. G’wan the Irish.
Jim Carroll has a great think-piece on the future of the music industry – a subject as hotly debated as Ross & Brand’s phone etiquette.
Joaquin Phoenix is retiring from Hollywood to focus on his music career. He has a music career? Hmm.
Holy Commander-in-Chief Batman! This time next week, the yanks will have a new President elect. The biggest debate in the next week? The Economy? The Environment? Foreign Policy? Nope. The bitter feud over the Barack O’Bama song.
The millionth Bond film is out this weekend. Mixed reports as to whether it’s any good or not – The Quietus give it an intense going over and emerge less than impressed… we’ll be making our own minds this weekend when we see it!

Thanks for the link. Where do you work in web design by the way?
