Arlo ‘My Da Woody inspired Dylan’ Guthrie plays Cyprus Avenue tomorrow night, admission €27. The Pavillion is where it’s at midweek – Bootleg’s regular Thursday night slot features Grand Pocket Orchestra, Buried In Smoke and Quiet Pilot all for as little as €6 before 10pm, €8 after and keep an eye out for next Friday’s Ping Pong hosts Max Tundra and Crayonsmith at the same venue.
More bad news; Deerhunter’s date in Whelans has been cancelled (along with the rest of their tour). Date to be re-sheduled, original tickets will remain valid.
Plenty of other great gigs ahead in the coming months, with the Eagles of Death Metal playing the Academy on Thursday 2nd April, and noiseniks HEALTH playing Whelans on Friday April 16th.
