Two new acts on the Marquee line up announced today – Tracey Chapman and eh, Chickenfoot.
According to the press release:
“Chickenfoot is a super-group consisting of ex-Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael “Mikey” Anthony, guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, the group first played together in February 2008. Their debut album has been confirmed in interviews to be self-titled and is expected to be released in either April or May 2009, after which the band will tour to promote the album.”
They play on 23rd June, tickets on sale Tuesday 31st March at 9am @ €44.20. Tickets for Tracey Chapman who plays the night before, June 22, go on sale the same date, €49.20 seated 44.20 general admission.
