Looks like The Pixies are set to return to Ireland in October! Black Francis, Kim Deal and Co have new tour dates up on their website, which include a 2 night stopover in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.

Their last visit to these shores in 2005 saw them fill Lansdowne Road, so this is a fairly intimate tour by comparisons. This tour news follows the release of the Minotaur boxset; a fancy/expensive collection of all their albums on blu-ray discs that would give Neil Young’s archives a run for their money at $450. Yikes, I’m sure ticket prices will be a lot less crippling.
