John Garcia, frontman of cult 90′s ‘desert rock’ band Kyuss has announced a tribute tour (not a reunion) where he and some hand-picked musicians will perform requested tracks from the band’s catalogue. The Garcia Plays Kyuss tour will play Dublin’s ALT on the 28th of May.
Original band members Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri will not be involved – it looks like it’s just Garcia and hired guns. While it may seems like a bit of a cash-in, it looks like it’s the closest thing to a Kyuss reunion that we’re going to get for now…
