As Indiependence does not have an official festival campsite itself, a number of private groups have stepped up to offer accommodation for punters over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
TO Park is a privately run new camp site that will accommodate 300 festival goers over the August bank holiday weekend. The site encompasses some proper flushing toilets, breakfasts in the mornings and a free shuttle bus daily and at night to and from the festival site located just 4 miles away. Continue Reading

Only a few days to go now until Oxegen 2009 whether you’re going or hoping to find a last minute ticket (keep an eye on Toutless for legit tickets at fair prices), we’ve got our festival guide right here!
As always, make sure to keep an eye out for last minute cancellations and schedule changes. Every year there’s always some band who misses a ferry or takes a wrong turn at Naas, so check the Oxegen website, forums and HeinekenMusic.ie for the latest info before you head off.
The official festival guide is now online with the site map (it’s an 18mb PDF, so non-broadband internet users should go here instead) and lots of other useful info.
We’ve barely finished unpacking from this year’s trip to Primavera Sound in Barcelona (see how we got on here, here and here) yet the organisers have gone and announced early details for next year’s festival.
According to their website the next Primavera Sound will take place on the 27th, 28th and 29th of May of 2010. Continue Reading
