Jape has walked away with the Choice Music Prize and a cheque for ten grand. Richie Egan won for ‘Ritual’, having played the Vicar St award show with Fight Like Apes, Mick Flannery, Halfset, Jape, MJEX and RSAG.

We’re pretty happy with the Choice, and the usual blogosphere anger directed at the Award will be less so this year I reckon!
